Kara Pecknold is a Senior Design Researcher at frog where she focuses her attention on the dynamic intersection between people, products and systems. Prior to joining frog, she worked on various projects in international development, health care and energy consumption. She is also the creator and facilitator of Dinner With A Side Of Design and a contributing writer for Core77. Kara has a graduate degree from Emily Carr University of Art + Design in Vancouver. Her research investigated how a designer could adapt alternate approaches when working in cross-cultural environment to encourage both dialogue and collaboration when language or technology were not shared.
